Our Team

Clifton Dirk King, RRT, RN, MSN, CRNA

Dirk King is a registered respiratory therapist, board-certified registered nurse, and certified registered nurse anesthetist. He attended Old Dominion University where he obtained his Master of Science in nurse anesthesia and received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in science from Texas State University. Dirk currently practices as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in Texas.

Jennifer Wood, MSN, AGPCNP-C, WHNP-BC

Jennifer has been a registered nurse for 13 years. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 2009 with her bachelor’s degree and went on to graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017 with a dual certification in adult-gerontology and women’s health. She is a member of both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the NCC for women’s health. Jennifer is passionate about wellness and aesthetics and has been trained extensively in order to provide the best care to our clients here at C&D Medical Aesthetics. Jennifer offers a wide array of services such as; botox, dermal fillers, micro needling, trigger point and joint injections, laser skin resurfacing, medical weight loss and much more. Joi Ivie, MSN, FNP

Joyce Ivie has been a registered nurse for over 14 years. She graduated from Central Texas College in 2008 with her associate degree in nursing. She continued her education and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Joyce then went on to graduate from the Chamberlain college of Nursing in 2016 with her Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Joyce is passionate about health, wellness and aesthetics and has been trained extensively to provide the best care to our clients here at C&D Medical Aesthetics. Joyce offers a wide array of experience in Family practice, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology and Wound care. BROOKE SCOTT, FNP

Brooke Scott has been a registered nurse for 7 years. She has now been practicing as a family nurse practitioner for 2 years passionately helping others feel like the best version of themselves as she helps her patients on their Medical Weight Loss journey!

Kelsey Shelley, FNP

Kelsey Shelley is a Registered Nurse and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. With almost five years of experience in emergency services, Kelsey brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care. She obtained her RN diploma from Covenant School of Nursing in 2020, followed by a BSN from Texas Tech University in 2021. She then completed her MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington in 2024.

In addition to her bedside nursing background, she is passionate about her role in healthcare and offers services in medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, botox injections, and a variety of other aesthetic procedures. Her broad skill set and commitment to helping patients achieve both health and wellness make her a valuable asset to the team.

Alice Patton, APRN, FNP-C

Alice Patton, APRN, FNP-C has been a registered nurse for more than 10 years and is currently practicing as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012 as a registered nurse and then went on to graduate from UT Arlington in 2020 with a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of American Nurses Association as well as a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Alice has trained extensively with C&D Medical Aesthetics and works continuously to learn the best practices for her clients. Alice offers appointments for medical weight loss, joint injections, trigger point injections, as well as regenerative and aesthetic procedures.

Amber Griffith, BSN, RN

As a Belton native with 4 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, Amber is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University (2011) and recently obtained her B.S.N. from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (2019). She is an Elite Nurse Practitioner with IV infusion and injectable certification (2020) and have received additional training as a professional nurse injector (botox & filler) from the Texas Laser Institute (2021). Currently, she is pending my APRN certification from the University of Texas Arlington.

Amber is passionate about healthcare and strives to stay at the forefront of her field through ongoing education and training.

Shelby Posten, ACNP-BC

Shelby Posten is a highly experienced nurse with a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care, now bringing her clinical expertise and patient-centered approach to the field of medical aesthetics. She is completing dual certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is working towards her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Shelby’s background and education uniquely position her to deliver safe, effective, and customized aesthetic treatments. Whether helping clients feel more confident through injectables or supporting them with personalized weight loss or hormone replacement care plans, Shelby brings the same commitment to detail and dedication to outcomes that have defined her nursing career.

Gisselle Castaneda, Facility Manager

Gisselle is a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant with over six years of hands-on experience in patient care and administrative support. She currently excels at C&D Medical Aesthetics in Waco, where she contributes to both clinical and operational functions.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gisselle effectively bridges communication gaps, enhancing patient experiences across diverse backgrounds.

In addition to her medical expertise, she is a seasoned Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor with extensive experience in helping medical students maintain their medical first responder licenses. Her dedication to education and training ensures that healthcare professionals remain well-equipped with essential life saving skills.

Stephanie Soto, Facility Manager

An advocate for a positive and welcoming clinic atmosphere, Stephanie is dedicated to creating a seamless, luxurious experience for patients. She believes in the importance of fostering a supportive environment for both clients and the team, where communication is key, and patient satisfaction is always a top priority.

With a strong background in both administration and customer service, Stephanie excels at managing operations, streamlining processes, and enhancing the overall efficiency of the clinic. Stephanie is always looking for ways to improve the clinic’s operations and patient outcomes.

Amy Valentine, Office Coordinator

Amy enjoys greeting and assisting customers while supporting the C and D Medical Aesthetics team. She grew up in Southern California where she was a receptionist for a multiple law firm suite.

Amy graduated from Golden West College and moved to Texas in 2013. She aspires to let every customer know they are welcome and appreciated.

Erin Schreck, MA

Erin is originally from Oklahoma City where she earned her certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant (2011). She then moved to Texas after serving 8 years in the Military as an Emergency Medical Technician. Erin is motivated to continue her career in healthcare by assisting others and promoting health and wellness.

Maricela Martinez, MA

Maricela is a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant with years of experience in providing high-quality patient care, specializing in phlebotomy.

Maricela excels in creating a welcoming environment for patients. She is committed to ongoing professional development. Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving medical field. Camryn Nuncio, MA

Camryn Nuncio is a dedicated healthcare professional specializing in patient care, weight loss injections, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) injections, and vitamin injections.

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Angelo State University in 2024, she has pursued further education, currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Nursing. With a passion for supporting individuals on their health and wellness journeys, Camryn is committed to delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact in the lives of her patients.

Adiyana Ford, MA

Adiyana is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with 7 years of service in the United States Navy, including hands-on experience in medical combat environments.

She brings a strong background in patient care through her roles as a Medical Assistant and Physical Therapist Intern. Adiyana is committed to advancing her knowledge and skills as she continues her education in the medical field. Her mission is to support each individual’s journey toward improved health and well-being. Passionate about teamwork and clinical excellence, she strives to create a positive, efficient, and patient-centered environment in every setting she serves.

Leigha Seward, MA

Leigha is a Certified Medical Assistant with over four years of experience and a deep passion for helping others. She has had the privilege of working closely with children, an experience that has shaped her approach with every patient—rooted in patience, empathy, and attentive care.
