Our Team
Clifton Dirk King, RRT, RN, MSN, CRNA
Dirk King is a registered respiratory therapist, board-certified registered nurse, and certified registered nurse anesthetist. He attended Old Dominion University where he obtained his Master of Science in nurse anesthesia and received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in science from Texas State University. Dirk currently practices as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in Texas.
Jennifer Wood, MSN, AGPCNP-C, WHNP-BC
Alice Patton, APRN, FNP-C
Alice has been a registered nurse for more than 10 years and is currently practicing as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2012 as a registered nurse and then went on to graduate from UT Arlington in 2020 with a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of American Nurses Association as well as a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Alice has trained extensively with C&D Medical Aesthetics and works continuously to learn the best practices for her clients. Alice offers appointments for medical weight loss, joint injections, trigger point injections, as well as regenerative and aesthetic procedures.
Joi Ivie, MSN, FNP
Joyce Ivie has been a registered nurse for over 14 years. She graduated from Central Texas College in 2008 with her associate degree in nursing. She continued her education and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Joyce then went on to graduate from the Chamberlain college of Nursing in 2016 with her Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Joyce is passionate about health, wellness and aesthetics and has been trained extensively to provide the best care to our clients here at C&D Medical Aesthetics. Joyce offers a wide array of experience in Family practice, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology and Wound care. ERIKA MENDOZA, FNP
Erika is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with 10+ years experience. She is a Belton, Texas girl born and raised who has a servant’s heart and is eager to work with our community. She is detail oriented and loves connecting with new people. She is passionate about helping clients find their health journey will go above and beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. She is knowledgeable and truly wants the best for her patients.

Brooke Scott has been a registered nurse for 7 years. She has now been practicing as a family nurse practitioner for 2 years passionately helping others feel like the best version of themselves as she helps her patients on their Medical Weight Loss journey!
Stephanie Soto, MA
As a Dedicated Medical Assistant, Stephanie is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. With her invested experience in both the Dermatology and Family Practice fields, she has a wide array of patient and procedure interactions.

Amber Griffith, BSN, RN
As a Belton native with 4 years of nursing experience in emergency medicine, Amber is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State University (2011) and recently obtained her B.S.N. from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (2019). She is an Elite Nurse Practitioner with IV infusion and injectable certification (2020) and have received additional training as a professional nurse injector (botox & filler) from the Texas Laser Institute (2021). Currently, she is pending my APRN certification from the University of Texas Arlington.
Amber is passionate about healthcare and strives to stay at the forefront of her field through ongoing education and training.
Teresa Effertz, LVN
Teresa brings over 16 years of nursing experience to C&D Medical Aesthetics. A native of Michigan, she has lived in Belton, TX since 1990. She has a passion for impacting the health and well-being of her community. Being bilingual enhances her skill set and aids in her delivery of patient care. Teresa has served in various specialties throughout her nursing career and now brings her knowledge and skills to you. She looks forward to working together to help you achieve your skin care goals so your outward appearance reflects the inner beauty you possess.
Erin Schreck, MA
Erin is originally from Oklahoma City where she earned her certification as a Clinical Medical Assistant (2011). She then moved to Texas after serving 8 years in the Military as an Emergency Medical Technician. Erin is motivated to continue her career in healthcare by assisting others and promoting health and wellness.
Brooke Whitby, Office Manager
Brooke provides administrative support to the C & D Medical Aesthetics team. Brooke is a native Wyoming-ite receiving her BA in Education from the University of Wyoming with a focus in the Arts. Brooke has had a strong sense of devotion for the beauty community and for complete customer satisfaction as she has experienced how medical aesthetics improves one’s quality of life.
Amy Valentine, Receptionist
Amy enjoys greeting and assisting customers while supporting the C and D Medical Aesthetics team. She grew up in Southern California where she was a receptionist for a multiple law firm suite.
Amy graduated from Golden West College and moved to Texas in 2013. She aspires to let every customer know they are welcome and appreciated.
